We report on our sustainability performance through robust data disclosure each year, and participate in a suite of external benchmarks. We also have a comprehensive suite of sustainability policies and guidance documents for our employees and suppliers to drive progress against our ambitious targets.

GOVERNANCE

Sustainability is a priority for our leadership team, and their commitment has galvanised support across our business. The Board is responsible for the oversight of our approach to sustainability and of climate-related risks and opportunities impacting our business. Board Provides oversight and challenge for Landsec’s approach to sustainability. The CEO is the Board Sustainability Executive and has overall accountability for sustainability.
Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Sets sustainability strategy within the parameters agreed by the Board, ensuring appropriate resources and budgets are in place to deliver. Monitors progress against strategy. 
Sustainability Hub A cross-business forum, chaired by the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, comprising colleagues with sustainability expertise from across Landsec. The Hub recommends the approach to sustainability, supports delivery of the sustainability strategy, shares best practice, provides specialist insight, and helps coordinate activity to embed sustainability across the business. 
Embedded sustainability expertise Sustainability capability is embedded across the business, within business units and enabling functions. These teams conduct business in line with our sustainability approach, integrating sustainability into decision-making and day-to-day operations, monitoring progress, and contributing directly to the achievement of our corporate sustainability commitments.
